MONDAY
  • January 20 - No School - MLK Jr Day
  • There will be Jazz Band tomorrow morning before school.

TUESDAY

  • January 21 - Day 2
  • Quarter 2 ends this Friday.  Be sure to finish strong.  Check in with teachers regarding any missed work.  Also review your schedule for quarter 3 so you know where you will be going.
  • NMS Spotlighers will rehearse Scene 9 with Elsa and the Snow Chorus today until 4 PM.  Be sure to have a ride pick you up at 4.
  • Peer Tutoring today after school in Room 212 (7th grade wing).
  • Role Playing Adventures Club in Room 209.
  • Badminton in the Gym.  (there is still some space for a few more Bandminton players, so think about joining).
  • Community Service Club will meet today after school.
  • Green Team will meet today in the library.

 

WEDNESDAY

  • January 22 - Day 1
  • There is a Student Government meeting after school today in the Community Room.
  • The community service club is running their annual Souper Bowl collection from Wednesday January 22nd through Tuesday, February 4th. Students and staff are encouraged to bring in any non-perishable goods to donate to our own Norwell Food Pantry. Each team, determined by their assigned color, will be competing to collect the most items to win the ultimate trophy, the golden football. Students can drop off the donations in a box located in their homerooms. On each box there is a list of suggested items and an email has also been sent with that information. All donations are welcome. Thank you for helping out our food pantry by bringing in donations!
  • All Spotlighters should go to the gym at Flex Time for a brief meeting.
  • NMS Spotlighers will have rehearsal for Leads in Scene 8 and the Oaken Family today until 4 PM.  Be sure to have a ride pick you up at 4.
  • Robotics will meet in Room 150.
  • Intro to Chess will meet in Room 208.
  • Dodgeball will meet in the Gym.
  • Art Club will meet in room 147.
  • Drop in to Room 202 in the 7th grade wing for some Organization Support.  Mrs. Johnston will be there to help any student who comes today after school.
  • Math Team (room 238) will meet after school today.
  • Best Buddies (Room 213) will meet today after school.
 
THURSDAY
  • January 23 - Day 2

  • All Gold Team members should go to Mr. Fraser's room during Flex Time today.
  • Green team members, please report to Mr. Doran's room for a brief meeting during Flex Time.
  • Snow Chorus should not see Ms. Petrell during Flex.

 

FRIDAY

  • January 24 - Day 1
  • The Yearbook will contain a Selfie page.  If you have a nice selfie, please send it to Mrs. Carton or Mrs. Kent by the end of January.  Additionally, if you have not ordered a yearbook yet, now is the time to do so.  The price of the yearbook will increase after February 7.
  • Homeroom will be extended so Student Government representatives can give reports to the homerooms.
