Norwell Middle  Student Parent Handbook

Bus fees are required for all students in grades 7-12.

There is no fee for students in grades K - 6.

Emails have been sent to all families of students in grades 7-12.  If you have any questions, please visit our Student Transportation page.

The fee of $250.00 will go up to $300.00 on 7/1/24.

Norwell Public Schools will continue offering an optional Technology Fee Program for iPad repairs and replacements for students in grades 6-12. This program is geared toward quick and efficient student iPad replacement by swapping out the iPad within a 24 hour period. 

The fee is $50.00.

The initial Technology Fee can be paid online HERE or by check made out to Norwell Public Schools with "tech fee" in the memo line.  

The deadline for the 2024-2025 school year is Monday, September 30, 2024.

Families have the option of obtaining private insurance coverage for iPads or selecting no coverage at all.  To see the details for each of these coverages, please click HERE.

Procedures for Technical Problems or Damages to iPads

In the event that an iPad has been damaged, deemed unusable, and/or does not meet the requirements of Norwell Public School’s Enrollment policy*, NMS students should fill out the Tech repair form or scan the QR code below and bring the device to Mrs. Hess in the main office for assistance.

* Enrollment policy consists of the Norwell Public Schools Technology Department enrolling the device(s) into the server for proper management, which includes: adding profiles, pushing out apps, and recording an accurate inventory.

Late Nights are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Buses will depart the Middle School at 2:45 p.m.
