Norwell Public Schools is committed to supporting students’ needs as they develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Our 5-year Norwell Public Schools Strategic Plan includes objectives specific to defining and communicating our Norwell Tiered System of Support (NTSS).

In Focus Area #1: Teaching and Learning, initiative Assessment and Grading aims to define, communicate, integrate, and implement Tiers I, II, and III related to academic support.

In Focus Area #2: Safety, Belonging and Well-Being, initiative Student Well-Being/Social Emotional Support, plans to review and articulate current NTSS at each level, identify opportunities for data collection, and training, and recommend evidence-based interventions.

By focusing our efforts on both the academic and social-emotional growth of our students, we support and honor the whole child.
