• Mini-team is a program that meets approximately one time each month during which students and staff members work together on specifically designed lessons that work to promote a positive middle school environment.  The purpose of mini-team is outlined below:

    • Assists students in developing social and interpersonal skills by giving them the opportunity to connect with a small group within the school.
    • Builds community by allowing students and faculty members to connect in a non-classroom setting.
    • Promotes tolerance and respect for others through developed lessons and group activities.
    • Gives everyone the opportunity to learn and have some fun thus making the students’ middle school experience enjoyable and positive.

Mini-team activities are based around a set of five challenges that are posed to each grade.  Click on the links to the left to read about those challenges and the activities designed to promote those challenges.
