• WELCOME TO MRS. NEEDLE'S DAILY HOMEWORK WEB PAGE

Hello, students and parents. I welcome you to seventh grade English language arts. This page is where you will find your daily homework assignments. Please use this page daily. Although, homework will be posted on the board in the classroom, this page will also include spelling words and homework handouts that you can access from home. I try to keep my site up-to-date. I also try to post assignments for the entire week early in the week, BUT please note that changes can take place. I may amend, add, or delete an assignment that has been posted early on if I feel we have moved a bit more slowly or quickly than I had anticipated. These pages will be important to check each day.

We will be reading fiction, non-fiction, and poetry this year. We have a new ELA literature book and a new nonfiction collection, At the Edge, that we will read this year. We will also have a variety of writing assignments. We will explore all the parts of speech and review other Standard English conventions that are important to our writing assignments. We will be building our vocabulary and perfecting our spelling. I hope you are ready to join me in all that we will be learning this year! I look forward to reading, writing, and learning with you.
