The Mock Trial Team usally paticipates in the statwide Massachusetts Bar Association mock trial tournament, which is held in courtrooms across the state.  This year the competition will be held vitually, and the team will still get to compete against other high schools.  Students are given a ficitonal case, with witness affidavits, case law, and fact patterns that they will have to use to prepare their questions and legal strategy. Students play the roles of lawyers and witnessess. 

The goal of the program is to teach students about courtroom procedures and what is involved in criminal and civil legal cases. for current trial updates.

There is a $50 fee for this club.
