Students with Disabilities
Many students with disabilities are eligible for accommodations when taking college exams such as the SAT. When you have been approved for accommodations, you will be issued a seven digit SSD eligibility code. This code is used when registering for the SAT. We encourage you to register as early as possible to ensure you are able to get a seat at your preferred testing site.
If you are a Norwell student and have any difficulty registering for the SAT hosted at Norwell High School, and it is prior to the registration closing date, please contact Arianne Lozan email@example.com or Suzan Theodorou firstname.lastname@example.org. We are available to respond to email on school days between 7:30 and 4:00. Upon receipt of your email will contact you and do our best to accommodate your request.
Sophmores and Juniors take the PSAT during the school day each fall.Free preparation materials for the PSAT, provided by the College Board and Khan Academy, can be accessed at www.collegeboard.org. There will be no fee for taking the exam.Any student on an IEP or 504 Plan who has been approved by the College Board for testing accommodations will receive the specified accommodations. If a parent does not wish to have a student receive the College Board approved accommodations, an email or letter must be sent to the student’s school counselor before September 30th.This year students took the PSAT on Wednesday, October 13th.
