    Ways to practice MATH facts

Practicing math facts is an important part of being a third grade math student. Amongst other math concepts, our year is highlighted with teaching and practice in: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Below, you will find a list of some suggested ways in which you and your student can reinforce their math fact skills at home.
    1. Flashcards
You can purchase math flash cards for various math skills (multiplication, division, addition and subtraction) at many different store locations. Office Depot/Office Max, Target, The Dollar Tree, Barnes and Noble, or Target and Walmart all have flashcards
    2. Digital Practice
This is a free online alternative to buying flashcards. Each time you visit the site, you are allowed to select the operation you would like to practice (addition, subtraction, multiplication or division). You are also allowed to select the level of difficulty. There is
no time limit to each question, so there is no pressure to be moving quickly through the questions.
This is a free online alternative to buying flashcards. Very similar to the previously mentioned website, you can choose the operation and the level of difficulty. This site also allows for you to choose between fill in the blank and multiple choice, and the number of problems that you would like to complete.
