    Crime Scene Investigation

    We will look into the basics of forensic science and crime scene investigations, setting up real-life scenarios and observing taking a look at some crimes that had been committed in the past, seeing how CSI investigators used the scientific process to solve them, (Episodes/sections of "Forensic Files" will be used).  Max. 15 students

    Running/Walking Club

    Interested in getting some fresh air after school? Then this is the group for you! You can choose to walk or run on the paths behind the middle school.  Join with a friend or join to meet some new friends.  You don't need to be an experienced runner as we will all go at our own pace.  Remember: A 12-minute mile is just as far as a 6-minute mile! Weather permitting, running/walking will be outdoors so dress accordingly.

    Audition Prep

    The activity is for all instrumentalists and vocalists interested in auditioning for SE District or SEMSBA.  During the six weeks, we will focus on memorizing scales and learning the audition music.  Please note that 6th graders are not able to audition this year but can absolutely sign up to start working towards next year's audition.  Join this session to get valuable tips on how to audition and what to prepare for. Max 10 students

    Dungeons and Dragons

    Classic role playing game of adventures and mystery!  Characters will be created with help from Mr. Fraser and a short adventure will be played by students over the course of six weeks.  No supplies needed, just a bit of imagination and the ability to laugh.   Max. 10 students

    Have a deep love of hobbits?  Ever wanted to be an epic hero in a myth?  Escape the mundane reality and add a dose of magic to your life with the NMS fantasy book club!

    Intro to Chess

    Join Mr. Fraser for chess and some light hearted conversation.  Beginners will learn the names of the pieces, how they move and begin to play games to learn deeper strategies.  Experienced chess players are also welcome to participate as mentors for our new players and for some competitive play as well. Max. 12 students

    Cricut Craft Club

    Let’s get crafty!  Join Mrs. Johnson and her handy Cricut machine to make some amazing items.  This group will meet and decide what crafts they will make.  Will it be a trick or treat canvas bag, a paper pumpkin lantern or holiday ornament?  Max. 8 students
