AP Calculus AB and BC
Both courses cover college-level material as specified by the College Board. AB covers content equivalent to about 1.5 semesters of college calculus; BC covers the equivalent of two full semesters. Students who elect to take AP calculus are committing to work at a rigorous pace and challenge themselves mathematically, as well as take the AP exam in May.
All students should have completed their summer work by the first day of school-- the assignments are similar but not identical for the two classes. We will be going over your questions the first few days of school, with a quiz on the summer work planned for Wednesday, September 12th.
