| Description of Activity:
What is the learning experience? What will teachers and students do during
the course of the activity? Through what performances or products will
students demonstrate what they know and are able to do? Students will learn about several aspects of ancient Greek life by doing a teacher-created web quest. Teachers may utilize this activity during their study of ancient Greece. They will introduce the procedure of the web quest using the InFocus machine, pass out web quest questions, and demonstrate how to get to the appropriate site. Students will begin their quest with the teacher and then independently complete the activity. Students will demonstrate what they know by successfully completing and correcting the web quest with the teacher. |

Teacher Tips and Notes:
What strategies are recommended regarding logistics, preparation, classroom
management, or other implementation concerns? Teacher should complete the web quest to make sure it works and accomplishes the desired task. Hook up and practice using the InFocus machine before the class demonstration. Web quest should be done individually or in pairs. Web quest works best if students follow the directions step by step and not zoom ahead. Some students may need questions reworded.
