| Description of Activity:
What is the learning experience? What will teachers and students do during
the course of the activity? Through what performances or products will
students demonstrate what they know and are able to do? Students will brainstorm topics about favorites - sports, ice cream flavors, color, etc. Choices will be limited to 6 so the data can be displayed effectively. Students will predict the outcomes of the survey and then collect data from classmates to check their conjectures. students will calculate the percent of students choices for each topic and make sure they add up to 100%. Students will type data into MS Excel and create pie graphs to display data results. |
