What is the learning experience? What will teachers and students do during
the course of the activity? Through what performances or products will
students demonstrate what they know and are able to do? The learning experience is finding out how space, light, and water limit plant population. The students will design an experiment that shows whether a certain biotic factor limits a plant population. The students will form a hypothesis, collect data through observations, organize their data in a spreadsheet program, and writing about their finding. |
