Description of Activity: What is the learning experience? What will teachers and students do during the course of the activity? Through what performances or products will students demonstrate what they know and are able to do?

This activity is for use in conjunction with Chapter 7 in the 5th grade science text. Students use the Resource sheet entitled "Animals in Danger" to record information in a spreadsheet format. The activity gives the students practice in using spreadsheets in a simple format and to use the Chart Wizard built into the program to see the different ways that information/data may be graphed.
