| Name: Knowles, Eppich, Horsefield, Frehill | School: Cole |
| Learning Activity Title: Colonial Webbing Using their Imaginary Colonial Identities | |
| Grade Level(s): 2 | Subject Area: Social Studies |
| Description of Activity:
What is the learning experience? What will teachers and students do during
the course of the activity? Through what performances or products will
students demonstrate what they know and are able to do? Using the Inspiration Program the children will enter their Colonial name in the center of the web and then list activities that they would be engaged in if they lived at this particular time in history. For example, a girl would use "rapid fire" to link a job such as churning butter to their name. They could further link the tools needed to do that job to the task, churning butter, as sub topics. |
