| Description of Activity:
What is the learning experience? What will teachers and students do during
the course of the activity? Through what performances or products will
students demonstrate what they know and are able to do? A group of students will summarize a story they have read in a guided reading group. They will decide what part of the story they will write and draw about. Then they will use KidPix to illustrate and write about their part. The teacher can then create a slideshow and the group can present their slides to the class. The teachers will monitor progress and save slides. The students will need an understanding of how KidPix works, including all drawing tools and typing over pictures. |
