| Description of Activity:
What is the learning experience? What will teachers and students do during
the course of the activity? Through what performances or products will
students demonstrate what they know and are able to do? Children will create a graphic organizer for prewriting. Example of main idea - "I opened my own restaurant." They will answer who, what, where, and why questions as spin-offs of the main idea. The first draft copies will follow after the organizer. As a follow-up lesson the children could create a "menu" for their "restaurant." |
