Financial Aid

Families seeking financial aid for college expenses should be sure to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA can not be filed before January 1. It is best completed on-line, but the paper form is usually available in November and may be picked up at the guidance office. File the FAFSA as soon after January 1 as possible.

It is imperative that families note each college's deadline for applying for financial aid. Many deadlines occur in early February. Check with your colleges to find out their financial aid application procedures and requirements.

Register for the CSS/PROFILE, a supplemental financial form completed through the College Board, if required by the colleges to which you plan to apply. You may start this process by filling out a form on-line. Forms are also available in the guidance office

Local scholarships will be announced by the guidance office in March. Counselors will visit senior English classes to distribute information. Other scholarship opportunities are available through the links below.
