of any kind will not be tolerated.  Students may not wear hats or chew gum in class.

Students will use three books during the school year:  Cambridge Series Unit I, Unit II, and Unit III.

group work, projects, and class participation.  Students must keep track of their own grade by using a grade page

completing written exercises.  Students should allot a minimum of 30 minutes a day for this class.
Homework assignments are generally not collected and students are expected to correct their own work on
each assignment.  This practice is an essential part to succeeding in this class.
I believe homework is very important and is weighed heavily.  Late homework assignments are not accepted.

CHEATING

Plagiarism, cheating on quizzes and tests, or copying homework will result in a zero (for both the lender and borrower).

prepared when the bell rings.  If a student is absent it is their responsibility to find out what work needs to be made up.
Students will have a schedule of assignments for the week to help them with make up work. In addition, all homework
assignments are posted at my web site, which is linked to the NHS page. When a student returns to school they
should see me to arrange to make up work either after school or during study halls.  Make up work is not done in class.
I want to stress to students that this is their responsibility and that I will not chase after them to make up quizzes and
tests.  Make up work that is not completed within TEN SCHOOL DAYS or less can result in a zero.
